Gorgeous Gorham Sterling Silver Water Pitcher produced for Shreve, Crump & Low. This sterling silver pitcher is extremely well made, is in beautiful shape, and is VERY heavy (28 troy ounces). The underside is marked with Gorham's "LION- ANCHOR - G" Mark, "STERLING," "IQA," and "4-1/2 PINT". It is also marked "REPRODUCTION - Shreve, Crump & Low Co." (we would estimate that the piece dates to the 1950's or so). The front bears a monogram reading "NEG". This is a VERY high quality piece of sterling, and is in simply beautiful condition - it feels wonderful in the hand, and would be a joy to own.

Well executed drawing of a nude woman by Jeanne Johns.
Johns drew this between 1968 and 1972 when she was living and working as an artist in Lenox, MA. The model's name was Vivian - she was also living in the Berkshires at the time, and agreed to pose for Johns. This piece was not sold by Johns, but was instead retained by her family for the last 30 years or so. We obtained it within the past year when it was finally sold by the artist's son. Jeanne had the framing and matting done herself, so these are original to the piece.
